The Chronicle article, page 7, Thursday March 4th 2010 gave the game away when it reported that the developer at Pincents Hill hoped for a Tory victory as he will be able to build on the land.
Mr Jonathan Smales, Blue Living development Chief Executive said that "there is a General Election coming up and a Conservative victory will mean planning policy is changed. The Tories are very committed to sustainable development and the Pincents Hill would be approved by a new Conservative Government"
What are the Tories saying in private to the developers? Why haven't they publicly stated that they will not build on the Kennet Meadows. Southcote residents will be concerned about this.
The only way Southcote residents can protect the Kennet Meadows and stop their homes from being flooded is to continue to vote Labour. We are totally committed to protecting the meadows and homes from flooding.
