Southcote Labour Councillors recently successfully lobbied the Police and Traffic Enforcement for them to undertake some traffic calming measures and speed awareness equipment in order to attempt to get motorists to slow down when travelling down Southcote Lane. These measures would undoubtedly have got careful motorists to understand and be aware of their speeding. We will continue to get the Council and the Police to monitor speeding in Southcote, particularly close to parked vehicles.
