Royals at a crossroads

As I write this blog it looks like at least one of our top players is on his way out. Gylfi Siggurdsson is going to Hoffenheim in the Bundeslig for over £4.25m. We will probably lose Fedirici to Fulham for £2m, Kebe for £3m and maybe Long to Wolves or West Brom for around £2m. Whilst I am not surprised it is still sad to see clubs with huge debts like Cardiff get top players on loan and look to get promoted to the promised land of the Premier League whilst Reading FC bank transfer money through selling our best players to clubs we were above only two years ago.

I thought we didn't look the team we were last season against Nottm Forest. We played poorly, looked weak at the back, didn't link well in midfield and looked short of goals up front. Mind you having said that it was a good result at Leicester on Saturday.
