Are we going ot have a grown up debate on the budget tomorrow night?

I am hoping that cllrs will be grown up when we have the budget debate at Full Council tomorrow night, 6.30pm at the Civic Offices. However, Tory cllrs are already lining up to attack any council tax increase that does not follow Windsor and Maidenhead's proposals. This means that Reading's Tories would oppose Wokingham, West Berkshire and Bracknell Tories Proposals of 2% + increases also with major cuts planned. This Labour administration has been transparent about savings and budget monitoring which has gone ot every External Services Scrutiny Panel since September 2009.

We will have to wait and see!
