Hampton Court and other palaces

My daughter is currently doing a school project on the Tudors and during half term we visited Hampton Court to assist her in gaining knowledge of life as royalty and as a peasant in the Tudor times. I must admit I enjoyed the day out and I learnt a lot about cooking and food in Tudor times. They seemed to party most of the time, not sure what happened in the rest of England though. We paid a family ticket to visit Hampton Court, The Tower of London, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and the Banqueting Palace in the next 15 months. I am looking ofrward to re-engaging with England's heritage if not to see how the other half lived in the past and present. I would defintiely recommend a trip to Hampton Court, particularly in the summer period with good weather to enjoy the gardens.
