Whilst the 2009-2010 curse of Madejski Stadium has been lifted with Reading FC What has happened with London Irish? Nothing could stop them at the start of the season but now they have peaked and are slowly but surely falling away. I have enjoyed watching the Exiles this season but now they are frustrating and even I could kick some of the penalties over the bar and that is saying something. I played rugby for five years at school and must have touched the ball three times as I didn't fancy a kicking or a crooked nose.
London Irish have got to get over this current bad period and steady the ship to finish in the top four. Out of all the clubs they seem to be the one that is unsettled by the Internationals and they continue to miss easy kicks and be inconsistent in their play. Still a great day out though and worth the entrance fee in entertainment and atmosphere.
