Neil Kinnock man of principle

I had the pleasure of meeting Neil Kinnock and hearing him speak of the achievements that have been secured in the past 12 years and that we need to look to solving the problems that are concerning people today. He spoke for 45 minutes without notes about Labour being the party of aspiration for the vast majority of people, not just the privileged few and that Labour united will answer the biased media questioning and put closer scrutiny on the Tories secret plans for cuts. It is clear that as the election gets closer people are being to understand that it is not a referendum on Gordon Brown's leadership but who will form the next government and this is causing the supposed policies of the Tories to unravel.
Neil Kinnock outlined the clear differences between Labour and the Tories and that under Labour there will be some belt tightening to get us out of the difficulties in the economy but that there would be noose tightening under the Tories, with only the privileged few being protected.

Neil Kinnock is still a man of principle and he is an example of a politician who cares about what he believes in and is in politics for the right reasons, to improve the life chances of people he represents and who believes in working with communities to secure permanent progress.
