Thank you Southcote for re-electing me

I would like to thank the voters of Southcote for supporting me at last weeks election. The results of the Reading Borough Council election in Southcote are:

Susan Bicknell (Lib Dem) 638

Cllr John Ennis (Lab) 1,836

James Towell (Green) 108

Robert Vickers (Con) 1,466

I am very pleased to receive 1836 votes whilst acknowledging that your Labour councillors must represent all the people of Southcote, whatever their political views. We have regularly committed supporting all residents of Southcote and we feel that we have done this to good effect.

The job starts now to improve Southcote further, to support families and children, to help businesses in Southcote, such as the Post Office in Coronation Square the
chance to flourish in trading, to work with the Police and Council to alleviate anti-social behaviour and make Southcote residents feel safer and to assist the schools in Southcte to further improve the educational standards and help our children enjoy and feel safe in our schools.
