Circuit Lane surgery needs developing

Southcote Councillors met with the GP's of the Circuit Lane to discuss ways of assisting them enhance the surgery and develop first class facilities for the people of Southcote. Dr Horne explained the importance of the surgery to the community of Southcote and how the community needs to be able to access more enhanced medical services, such as two consultation rooms and two extra GP's, District Nurses on site and a Pharmacy.

Circuit Lane has over 10.500 patients , including over 2.500 patients in the Underwood Road area. The surgery caters for many elderly patients who will need a developed surgery close to them within walking distance. The consultation process about Health in the Southcote and Calcot area is well under way and your local councillors have gone out knocking on Southcote doors to ask about your views. We have found that local overwhelmingly use the Circuit Lane surgery and support enhanced facilities. We are writing to the PCT to document our support for the development of Circuit Lane Surgery.
